 Bioefekts Limited is situated in capital of Latvia, Riga. Company was established on 1993 by Dr. biol. Anita Lielpētere and it is producing microbiological fertilizers. The microorganisms used in our fertilizers are obtained from the soil or other biosystems of Latvia and our products can be used in ecologically clean agriculture. Our microbiological fertilizers contain representatives of microscopic fungi (Trichoderma species) and bacteria (Pseudomonas, Streptomyces, Bacillus, Polyangium, Azotobacter, Rhizobium spp.).

Company Bioefekts Limited is involved in Eurolegume project WP 3 concerning selection of appropriate Rhizobium strains to support nitrogen fixation and development of inoculants.

We will participate with making proposal and collaborating in the preparation of protocols for rhizobia isolation and characterization as well in the testing and assessment of carrier media for Rhizobium leguminosarum inoculants.
